Description:
Allure floating vinyl planks are unique and revolutionary.Because of Allures flexibility the planks can be installed over uneven sub-floors or existing floors.Allure looks and feels like wood, yet it is waterproof, so it can be installed in moisture prone areas that have been typically “off limits” to traditional wood flooring and laminates like bathrooms and basements.
Each Allure plank secures to the other, not your sub-floor, using the revolutionary GripStrip.
Applications:
Allure is suitable for use in all domestic and commercial applications.For heavy commercial traffic and industrial use an enhanced wear grade is available.
Surface Preparation:
All sub-floors must be sound, solid and have little flexibility.Allure can be applied over,
Concrete and lightweight concrete(large imperfections require to be filled and smoothed).
Wooden floors must be sturdy, flat and have little flexibility.
Ceramic tile, quarry tile and terrazzo (severe embossing or grout lines) exceeding 3mm in depth need to be filled with a leveling compound.
Installation:
Allure is loose laid floating floor using the patente GripStrip technology.
Simply lay the overlapping GripStrip of one plank over the adjacent plank.The adhesive has an open time of 10 to 15 minutes so it is very forgiving if any reworking is necessary.
Press the joints together – no other adhesive is required.
To trim just measure, score and snap.
Underlay is required.
Care and Maintenance:
The type of frequency of traffic on your Allure floor will determine the frequency of maintenance needed.
Regular adherence to an effective maintenance program in- sweeping, dusting, mopping and prompt removal of spills will protect your floor.
For regular maintenance “Allure” liquid cleaner is recommended.Do not use powdered cleaners, oils, soaps or other detergents.Do not apply any wax based products.
Scuff and scratches can be removed using Allure “One-Step” available from the supplier
For any serious or mechanical damage, planks can be easily removed and replaced.
