A Traviata guarantee is 100% valid for its full duration, they give written guarantees on all Supreme and Prestige Flooring products.

All Traviata products are manufactured in accordance with the stringent European EN13329 quality standards. They abide by the rules and guidelines of the EPLF (European Producers of Laminate Flooring) as well as the South African Wood Laminate Floorings Association (SAWLFA)

Traviata is proud to announce that they can offer their customers a perfect finish.

·        Exact colour matching skirtings and profiles are available for Supreme and Prestige ranges.

·        All profiles (for doors) are made from moisture resistant high density fibre-board wrapped in AC3 laminate.

·        Skirtings and Scotia’s are wrapped with melamine impregnated foil.

·        Traviata laminate flooring will not warp, twist or pull apart.

·        Traviata floors are guaranteed not to stain from accidental spillages of any substance normally found in the home.

·        Traviata Flooring will not fade due to sun or artificial light.

·        All Traviata products are made from extra high density, moisture resistant boards. Colour coded “Green”.

·        The edges of the Prestige and Supreme ranges have been sealed with wax emulsion for additional moisture protection.

Other products that are important by Traviata are their beautiful Hard Wood Engineered Collection.  This is a 14.5mmm thick floor which has a 4mm solid wood layer with 12 colours to choose from.

Traviata also imports an entry level value for money range, manufactured by KLD with 8 colours in the range.  Were from two of these colours have a V-Groove’s.

The KLD AC3/31

The Prestige AC5/33 (Natural)

·        This 8mm AC5 flooring is as good as it gets!

·        The surface is at least twice as hard. Much more scratch resistant than regular domestic grade laminate flooring

·        The natural wood grain embossed surface adds character and warmth.

·        Ideal for use anywhere in the home (except wet areas), offices or other similar commercial environments.

Traviata Supreme Guarantee

Sonae Novobord (Pty) Ltd., will guarantee that for 18 years in domestic use and 3 years in commercial use of moderate traffic with normal use and care, from the date of purchase of “Traviata Supreme”, that:

1.     The decorative laminate surface will not wear through.

2.     The floor will not stain

3.     The floor will not fade due to sun or artificial light

This guarantee is made to the following conditions:

The flooring must be used indoors in residential areas and installed and used in accordance with the instructions contained inside each pack and any accompanying literature.

Installation of flooring that contains visible manufacturing defects is not covered by this guarantee.  Any such defective material will be replaced at no additional cost to the customer.  Any claim for surface wear must not have been as a result of incorrect maintenance or accident damage including scratching, impact or cutting.

The surface wear must be readily visible and exposed in at least one area of approx. 12.5mm² (1/2 inch square) of base paper.  The correct underlayments and/or vapour barriers have been used as required for the sub floor in question.  In addition to the conditions above, the “Traviata Supreme” commercial guarantee is also subject to the following:  The guarantee is not valid for any type of industrial application.

In addition to the Sonae Novobord (PTY) Ltd., guarantees its product against manufacturing defects that exist in its products prior to shipment.  Sonae Novobord (PTY) Ltd., will replace any such defective materials at no additional cost to the customer.  Any damage that occurs during shipment is the responsibility of the shipping company.  If Sonae Novobord (PTY) Ltd., accepts the claim under this “Traviata Supreme” commercial guarantee, it will repair or replace, at its option, the effected flooring material.  This guarantee covers the cost of the repair or replacement only of defected material.

No claims for consequential losses will be accepted.  Reasonable access by Sonae Novobord (PTY) Ltd., or its contractors must be afforded by the customer during normal working hours in order to inspect and/or correct any faults.  If the design is no longer available, Sonae Novobord (PTY) Ltd., will replace with another design of equal value and specifications to customers choice.  The above remedy is the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for claim under this guarantee.

Sonae Novobord (PTY) Ltd., disclaims liability for incidental and consequential damages for breach of any express or implied guarantee and all other express or implied guarantee, including any implied guarantee of merchantability or guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to this product.  This guarantee constitutes the entire agreement of the parties and no variation or amendments shall be valid unless in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Sonae Novobord (PTY) Ltd.

These conditions do not reduce your statutory rights, which remain unaffected.
