 Buying & Cleaning Tips
BUYING TIPS
· Never buy cheap laminate flooring. This will always become expensive in the long run. Buy the right floor for the right application.
· Quality, strength and performance of a laminate floor is determined by the thickness of its wear layer, don’t be fooled by the thickness of the board. A thick board might just have a higher swelling rate.
· Make sure you get a well-know brand and guarantee (for both the product and installation).
· Check the references of both your supplier and your installer and make sure their previous customers are still happy.
· Make sure you have a flat, smooth sub-floor that is free of moisture.
· Satisfy yourself that the fixing method and the finishing details are what you expect.
· Check if your wood floor needs sealing.
